Eligible Dividends
Under Canadian tax legislation, Canadian resident individuals who receive "eligible dividends" are entitled to an enhanced gross-up and dividend tax credit on such dividends. Franco-Nevada has designated that all dividends paid since its Initial Public Offering on December 20, 2007 and all future dividends are "eligible dividends" for these purposes.
